RR vs KOL Dream11 Prediction: 18th Match, IPL 2021
Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders will play against each other in the 18th match of IPL 2021 at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. We will cover RR vs KOL Dream11 Prediction, Probable Playing XI, and Fantasy Cricket Tips of IPL 2021.
Rajasthan Royals had a tough time so far as they have won one out of the four matches and are currently at the bottom of the points table with just two points. The bowlers performed very poorly in the last game, and as a result, they lost the match by ten wickets.
Jos Buttler and Manan Vohra have been opening the inning for the last three matches. Buttler has played a couple of good innings, but Vohra appears to be entirely out of form and is struggling to score runs. Skipper Sanju Samson has also not been up to the mark except for the first match.
After struggling for three matches, Shivam Dube batted brilliantly but was unlucky to miss his fifty by just four runs. Riyan Parag has appeared to be in and out of form so far in this season. Rahul Tewatia also batted well, scoring quick runs in the lower middle-order. Chris Morris has also not contributed much with the bat except for a match.
The bowlers have not been consistent with their performance so far in this season and performed disastrously in the last match. No bowler managed to pick up a wicket in the previous game. Chris Morris and Chetan Sakariya are the only bowlers who were consistent and picked up wickets. The remaining bowlers need to improve their performance in the next matches.
Rajasthan Royals need to work on their bowling unit as they have been conceding many runs and have not been able to pick up wickets at regular intervals.
Kolkata Knight Riders:
Kolkata Knight Riders have also struggled a lot so far in this season as they lost three out of the four matches and are currently at the 6th position on the points table. They put up a decent performance in the last game but did not have much help from their top-order batsmen and, as a result, lost the match by 18 runs.
Nitish Rana has been opening the innings for the team and scoring well but got out early in the last match. In the quest to score runs quickly, Shubman Gill has thrown away his wicket in most games. Tripathi has batted well in a couple of innings and got out cheaply in the other two matches.
Skipper Morgan is entirely out of form in the middle-order and has been one of the significant reasons for KKR’s lousy performance this season. Dinesh Karthik has been performing well, but he needs to bat at a particular position and not change it in every match. Russell and Pat Cummins batted exceptionally well and kept the team’s hopes alive but couldn’t finish the game for the team.
The bowling unit has been conceding a lot of runs in the last couple of matches. Pat Cummins and Prasidh Krishna, who were the critical bowlers for KKR, went for many runs and were wicketless in the previous game. Varun Chakravarthy and Narine bowled well, picking up a wicket in the last match. Russell also managed to pick up a wicket.
Kolkata Knight Riders need to perform as a team, meaning that both their batting and bowling departments need to come together to win the matches.
