Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore will play against each other in the 30th match of IPL 2021 at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. We will cover KOL vs BLR Dream11 Prediction, Probable Playing XI, and Fantasy Cricket Tips of IPL 2021.
Kolkata Knight Riders:
Kolkata Knight Riders haven’t lived up to the expectation as they have lost five out of the seven matches and are currently at the 6th position on the points table with four points. They performed poorly in the previous game and lost by seven wickets.
Nitish Rana has been struggling to score runs in recent matches, and Shubman Gill also is not in his best form but scored 43 runs in the last game. Tripathi has put up some good performances but has not been consistent in every match.
Except for one match, skipper Morgan hasn’t batted well this season, and Sunil Narine in the middle-order got out for duck twice so far. Russell has played some of the aggressive innings and scored crucial runs, but he has not got support from the other end in most of the matches. In the lower order, Dinesh Karthik and Pat Cummins have played a couple of good innings.
Similar to the batting unit, the bowlers have also been inconsistent this season. Pat Cummins and Varun Chakravarthy have been the consistent wicket-takers for KKR, and the former managed to pick up three wickets in the last match. Prasidh Krishna also performed well in some of the games. Narine and Russell have appeared to be struggling to pick up wickets this season.
Kolkata Knight Riders still have a perfect chance of making a comeback and qualifying for the playoffs.
Royal Challengers Bangalore:
Royal Challengers Bangalore has performed well so far as they have won five out of the seven matches and are currently at the 3rd position on the points table with ten points. In the last game, the batsmen got out in quick sessions, and as a result, they lost the previous match by 34 runs.
Virat Kohli is struggling a lot this season to score runs, so RCB hasn’t gotten a good start in every match. Devdutt Padikkal has been playing aggressively and scoring runs quickly, but he is getting out early. Rajat Patidar, at No.3, is batting decently, but his strike rate has been relatively low.
Glenn Maxwell has contributed well to the team but was out for a duck in the last match. AB de Villers has played match-winning knocks this season and is in perfect form. Daniel Sams hasn’t got many chances with the bat in the lower middle-order, but he capable of playing big shots. Kyle Jamieson and Harshal Patel batted brilliantly, scoring some crucial runs towards the end.
The bowlers were in exceptional form in the initial matches, but lately, they have been struggling to pick up wickets. The purple cap holder, Harshal Patel, has been conceding many runs in the recent matches and went wicketless in the last game. Jamieson has been bowling well and picked up two wickets in the previous game. Sams and Shahbaz managed to pick up a wicket each. Siraj has also been very economical this season.
Royal Challengers Bangalore does not have a proper power hitter in the lower middle-order who can finish the innings. They need to makes some changes to their batting order.
